HDPE Biaxial Geogrid Introduction

HDPE biaxial geogrid is manufactured from high‑density polyethylene polymer. Raw material is extruded into sheets, punched to form regular mesh holes, then stretched longitudinally and transversely to form stable grid structure.

During thermal stretching production, polymer molecules are oriented orderly, enhancing molecular‑chain binding force and improving overall grid strength. Its core function is soil reinforcement.

Large apertures between longitudinal and transverse ribs allow soil interlocking through geogrid layers. Soil particles lock inside openings, bear against transverse ribs and transfer loads to longitudinal ribs through firm junction connections, realizing reliable mechanical anchoring effect.
