Geosynthetic clay liner Introduction (GCL-OF)

It is a needle-punched reinforced composite geosynthetic clay liner (GCL). A uniform layer of granular sodium bentonite is encapsulated between woven and nonwoven geotextiles. An HDPE geofilm coating is applied on the woven fabric surface to reduce hydraulic conductivity.

Its performance can meet or exceed GRI-GCL3 and Chinese national standard JG/T193-2006.

Functions

This structure effectively prevents slippage and bentonite accumulation caused by cuts, tears, vertical installation and structural movement.

GCL can self-adhere and self-seal to concrete and other construction structures, and it also provides erosion control performance.

Good Self Water-Retention Property:

It forms a high-density anti-seepage diaphragm under hydraulic pressure. With only 3mm thickness, its permeability resistance is equivalent to compacted clay of 30cm thickness. It has excellent self water-retention performance.
